The great thing about what I do is that you can pick and mix any of the topics in the Winning Formula to improve your game. I recommend a structured approach to development as this allows you to learn step by step and at your pace, from single sessions to full support throughout the season, this is your choice.
There are no successful professionals or good amateurs who do not have a regular coach to assist them with their technique and playing skills. The amateur golfer for some reason seems to prefer to play on, in ignorance - often trying to solve their own problems, with little or no long-term progress or success.
Well I am confident that we have a route through this frustration and a way forward that is as easy as it is rewarding. My simple coaching methods - based on how the mind and body work together - are able to help you improve. Simple drills are designed to increase your confidence, concentration and the ability to perform under pressure, scoring well when you most need to. You can learn quite easily how to be confident and stay in control. The reality is that whether or not you realise it, you are always playing the mental game in golf and if you don't take control of it, it controls you.
My coaching will take place in a number of different environments. I am happy to come and visit you at your preferred location or you can visit me.
Typically I may need to coach in the;
Home or classroom sessions to plan or discus play tactics, perhaps practise imagery or relaxation.
Driving range or practise area to work on routines or drills to build confidence of consistency.
Chipping area to work on short game routines or drills to build confidence of consistency.
Putting green to work on putting attitude and approach, putting under pressure or green reading
Golf course to develop winning play skills, course management strategy and score plans.
